About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Paralegal to join our legal team at Skiddle. Working closely with the Legal Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting a wide range of legal and commercial matters across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate seeking a varied legal experience within a fast paced, creative industry. The role offers exposure to commercial, contract, data protection, and compliance work and is ideal for those wishing to qualify as a solicitor via the SQE route.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and reviewing promoter contracts
- Support the Legal Manager in dispute resolution, including correspondence with promoters, customers, and external solicitors
- Conduct legal and commercial research to inform business decisions and risk assessments
- Help manage Skiddle’s contract database, ensuring all agreements are tracked, stored, and renewed appropriately
- Contribute to GDPR and data protection compliance, including supporting internal training and handling data-related requests
- Assist with risk and compliance projects, such as promoter due diligence, account auditing and policy reviews
- Review and summarise third-party terms and conditions to identify potential risks or inconsistencies
- Prepare and update legal templates, training materials, and internal documentation
- Liaise with internal teams (Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Tech Development) to provide practical legal support for ongoing projects and new product launches
- Maintain accurate legal records, track key deadlines, and assist in contract lifecycle management
- Participate in professional training and development, working toward qualification as a solicitor via the SQE pathway
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A law graduate (LLB or equivalent)
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A confident communicator who can work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of the business
- Able to balance commercial awareness with sound legal reasoning
- Eager to learn, develop, and progress toward qualification as a solicitor
- Enthusiastic about working in the events ticketing industry
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (in-house or private practice)
- Familiarity with contract law, data protection or intellectual property
- Experience working with digital platforms, tech companies, or
entertainment businesses
